Helping the Lamoille Community Food Share is as easy as 1-2-3.
1. Get a free Food Project Green Bag (available at the Food Share or at area libraries). 2. Use your bag to store in-date nonperishable food items (see wish list for suggestions). 3.Bring your bag to the Food Share or leave it in a Food Project collection box and get a new bag for next time. Green Bag Days are on the second Saturday of the even numbered months (Feb., Apr., June,Aug., Oct., Dec.) or drop off you bag anytime or date that is convenient. We'll post a reminder on the Food Share Facebook page— @lcfoodshare — and local Front Porch Forums. Your donations help in so many ways. Every two months, the Lamoille Community Food Share can expect to receive a windfall of your donated groceries, personal care items and household cleaning items that go right on the pantry shelves. These help families in the Lamoille area struggling with food insecurity and decreases the burden on the Food Share budget. We truly appreciate your support! |
